Preparation for Application

Step 1

Remove all dirt, grease, oil, salt and chemical contaminants. 

Step 2

Wash the surface with a commercial detergent, or other suitable cleaning method. Rinse with fresh water and allow to dry thoroughly.

Step 3

Remove loose paint and rust with a wire brush or medium grit sandpaper. 

Step 4

Sand the entire surface to be coated with a scuff pad or medium grit sandpaper. Remove all sanding dust with a clean cloth.

Step 5

Protect and mask off all surrounding areas that are not intended to be coated.
