Update your ceramic, porcelain or fiberglass tub and surround with this durable and fast-drying Tub & Tile Refinishing Kit.
Give your existing bathroom an updated look on a budget. Whether you have a rustic farmhouse bathroom, or simple modern décor, this Tub & Tile Refinishing Kit gives you an easy way to update without the hassle of removing your old tub.
- Properly ventilate the area by opening windows or using fans.
- Apply painter's tape to any surface you don't want to paint.
- Thoroughly mix Part B to ensure any settled pigment is redispersed.
- Add Part A to Part B and mix thoroughly for 1 minute. Apply within 6 hours of mixing.
- If using a fine quality, fine bristle varnish brush, brush in one direction only for a smooth surface and feather the edges as you paint to avoid a hard line between painted areas. Apply two coats, waiting at least 1 hour between coats.
- If using a high quality, ¼” short nap roller made for kitchen or bath use, apply two coats, wait at least 1 hour between coats.
- Small bubbles will appear on the surface as you paint. As the paint dries, the self leveling properties will eliminate these bubbles.
- Dries to the touch in 1 hour. Allow to dry at least one hour before applying a second coat. Allow to dry 3 days before exposing to water.
