Prepare: Always work in a well ventilated area and cover the surrounding area with a drop cloth to protect from overspray.

Build: Assemble 4 planks to a wood backing to create sign.

Stain: Now, it’s time to stain. Before beginning, thoroughly stir or shake your can of Varathane Ultimate Wood Stain in Weathered Gray. Dip your lint-free cloth or brush into the stain and, working in small sections, apply a generous amount of stain to the wooden planks in the direction of the wood grain. Let the stain sit for a few minutes (more time = deeper colour), and then wipe away the excess with a clean, lint-free cloth. Once all of your planks are completely stained, set them aside to dry for one hour.

Glitter: Cut pumpkin in half length wise before painting. Now, it’s time to paint the letters and pumpkin. Shake your can of Glitter spray paint in Harvest Orange for one minute after the mixing ball starts to rattle. Hold the can upright 12-14” away from the objects, and spray in a sweeping motion. Apply two or more light coats a few minutes apart. Let everything dry for about 20 minutes.

Seal:Once letters and pumpkin are completely coated in glitter, apply Glitter Clear Sealer to each piece with the same technique. Then, let everything dry for at least an hour.

Assemble: Once everything has dried Apply the sticker letters at the top of sign to say “I’m Here For The”
Then, follow the directions on your extra-strength glue’s label to glue the letters and pumpkins to the sign to create “BOOS”.
