This easy Mason jar project will brighten your Halloween. Just a little DIY stenciling and few coats of spray paint and you’ll create fun décor for your Halloween party.

  1. Always work in a well-ventilated area, such as outdoors or in a garage, and place a drop cloth in the space where you will paint. Clean your Mason jars with soap and water and dry thoroughly.

  2. Tape off any areas of the jars you don’t want to paint.

  3. Cut tape into shapes that resemble a Jack-O’-Lantern face and tape onto the jars.

  4. Apply the orange spray paint onto the Mason jars, per the can instructions, and let them dry for at least 1 hour.

  5. Remove painter’s tape and add battery powered candles for the full effect.
