How to #SPRAYNEWLIFE into an Abandoned Fire Pit

Your luggage is due for a makeover! Update your hard-shell suitcase in the chic colours of blush and black and love your new carry-on!

STEP 1: Before you start, make sure to wash your suitcase (old or new) with soapy water, rinse with water, and wipe down with a dry towel.

STEP 2: Tape around any areas you want to paint metallic - this can be handles, zippers, badges, and feature areas - to protect the surrounding areas from paint.

STEP 3: Shake  Universal Metallic Black Stainless Steel can vigorously for one minute and cover the ground with a drop cloth or use a flattened cardboard box. Hold the can upright 8-12” from surface and spray in a back-and-forth motion over the areas you want covered in Black Stainless Steel. Wait 1 hour to dry and then remove the surrounding tape from the suitcase.

STEP 4: Tape the feature areas you do not want painted in the primer and main colour. You can cut out square pieces of the plastic bag to cover the wheels and tape for protection.

STEP 5: Shake Painter’s Touch Primer can vigorously for one minute. Keep the primer can 8-12” from the surface and keep it in motion while spraying. Apply the primer, switch angles and positions to apply paint in all the nooks and crannies, and then wait 1 hour to dry.

STEP 6: Shake Painter’s Touch 2x Ultra Cover Satin Vintage Blush can vigorously for one minute. Keep the can 8-12” from the surface and keep it in motion while spraying. Switch angles and positions to apply paint in all the nooks and crannies, and then wait 1 hour to dry.

STEP 7: Carefully remove the tape from feature areas.
