    Refresh Your Vintage Metal Sconces

Bring a B&B look to your room with a fresh coat of spray paint on an old metal bed frame for a beautiful, vintage look. Find a bed frame at a thrift store or curbside and make it new again!

  1. Make sure your bed frame is clean and dry.
  2. Over a drop cloth, shake can vigorously for one minute after the mixing ball begins to rattle. Slide off the red safety clip from the trigger. Start spraying in a steady back-and forth motion, slightly overlapping each stroke. Keep the can the same distance from the surface and in motion while spraying.
  3. Apply two or more light coats a few minutes apart. For best results, apply several light coats versus one heavy coat.
  4. Allow the paint to dry thoroughly for approximately 1 hour before handling the frame and 24 hours before full use.
