Add a touch of blue to your home office space! With Painter's Touch 2X Ultra Cover Spray Paint and Varathane Ultimate Wood Stain , you can customize and coordinate the look for all of your storage pieces.
Brackets
Step 1: Shake can vigorously for one minute after mixing ball begins to rattle. Shake often during use. Work over a drop cloth to protect other surfaces.
Step 2: Hold spray can upright 10-16" from surface and spray in a steady back-and forth motion, slightly overlapping each stroke. Keep the can the same distance from the surface and in motion while spraying.
Step 3: Apply 2 or more light coats a few minutes apart to avoid drips and runs.
Step 4: To create an ombre effect, apply the darker colour in solid paint at the bottom of each bracket and as you move toward the top, lighten the paint spray.
Step 5: Set the brackets aside and let them dry for approximately 1 hour.
Wood Shelf
Step 1: Lightly sand the unfinished wood so there are no rough spots. Wipe away any sanding residue with a lint-free cloth.
Step 2: Over a drop cloth, gently stir the can of Varathane Ultimate Wood Stain and apply a test sample on a small inconspicuous area with a lint-free cloth before proceeding with the entire job.
Step 3: Apply one coat of stain liberally with a good quality brush or clean lint-free cloth.
Step 4: Allow wood stain to penetrate for 2-3 minutes then remove excess by wiping with a cloth in the direction of the grain.
Step 5: Allow stain to dry for approximately 1 hour.
Step 6: Apply Varathane Triple Thick with a high-quality synthetic brush with smooth even strokes, ensuring even coverage.
Step 6: Allow Triple Thick to dry completely for approximately 2 hours.
Attach the finished wood to the painted brackets with included hardware and hang in your home office area.
