Celebrate Christmas with a little DIY glitter. Add shimmer to a wood cutout with Rust-Oleum Specialty Glitter spray paint for a cute addition to a mantel wreath.
- Apply Rust-Oleum 2X Ultra Cover® Primer to the cutout according to the directions on the can. Let it dry for 1 hour.
- Hold the can of glitter spray paint upright 12-14” from surface and spray in a steady back-and-forth motion, slightly overlapping each stroke.
- Keep the can the same distance from the surface and in motion while spraying. Apply two or more light coats a few minutes apart.
- Apply Glitter Clear Sealer the same way, a few minutes after the last coat of glitter, and let it dry for 20 minutes to the touch, 1 hour to handle and 24 hours for full use.
- Attach your cutout to your favorite wreath and hang it above your fireplace mantel.
