Picture Frame Ornament

Transform an ordinary frame into a classy picture frame ornament with a touch of Rust-Oleum® Universal® Hammered spray paint.

1. Find a spot outside and cover nearby items with drop cloths or old sheets to protect them from spray mist.
2. Remove the glass inserts and slide in a sheet of newspaper to cover the inside of the frame.
3. Hold the can of Rust-Oleum® Universal® Hammered spray paint can 12-14” from the surface. Press the spray trigger and begin covering the surface in a steady, back-and-forth motion, slightly overlapping each stroke.
4. Apply 2 or more light coats a few minutes apart. For best results, apply multiple light coats versus one heavy coat.
5. Allow to dry for 2-4 hours.
6. Once dry, attach a rope or string to turn the picture frame into an ornament.
7. Insert a special picture or silhouette image into the frame and hang it on your tree.
